Özet: A 63-year-old woman presented with a large, ulcerokeratotic mass in her right lower eyelid that had grown over the last 2 months in a burn scar. She had experienced a thermal burn involving both inferior periorbital areas 35 years ago and received medical treatment. The lesion was excised with wide margins. The histologic diagnosis was squamous cell carcinoma. No recurrence was observed during a 22-month follow up. In the previous literature, a total of 10 cases of eyelid burn scar neoplasm, of which 9 were basal cell carcinoma, have been reported. To the authors' knowledge, this is the first reported case of thermal burn-related squamous cell carcinoma of the eyelid.
