Kırık sağaltımında AO/ASIF tekniği

Abstract

AO/ASIF technique was especially performed on the treatment of the fractures of the long bones of the extremities. This technique was applied with compression plat, cortical and spongious bone screw. Also this described technique was occurred actually on the field of Veterinary Orthopedic Surgery. The purposes, special instruments and materials, applying properties, advantages and disadvantages of this technique were·described.

Özellikle ekstremitelerin uzun kemiklerinin kırıklarının sağaltımında yaygın bir kullanım sahası bulunan, metal plak ve vidalarla uygulanılan AO!ASIF (Arbeitsgemeinschaft. für Osteosynthesefragen/Association for the Study of İnternal Fixation) tekniği, son yıllarda Veteriner Ortopedi alanında da küçük ve büyük hayvanlarda aktuel bir yöntem oluşturmaktadır. Tekniğin amacı, kullanılan alet ve materyaller, uygulama özellikleri, yarar ve sakıncaları incelenmiştir.
