Tao Klarceti el yazmalarında metal cilt kapakları

Abstract

Tarihsel süreç boyunca bilinen herhangi bir göç hikayesinin bulunmadığı Kafkasya‟nın otokton, en eski ve köklü medeniyetleri arasında yer alan Gürcü toplumunda eski çağlardan günümüze dek kesintisiz ve belirli dönemlerde yüksek seviyelere ulaşan sanat üretimi varlığı, çalışmamız kapsamında Gürcü toplumunun Sina‟sı olarak adlandırılan Tao-Klarceti bölgesinde üretilen el yazma kapakları çerçevesinde değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yüzyıllar boyunca yazı geleneğinin gözlemlenebildiği Gürcistan‟da birçok alanda el yazma üretimi karşımıza çıkarken kutsal kitaplar ve İncillere ayrı bir bölüm vermek gerekmektedir. İnciller özelinde öne çıkan İncil kapakları çalışmamızdaki ana bölümü oluşturmaktadır. Kitap kapakları vesilesiyle Gürcü toplumunun ortaçağda yaşadığı altın çağına elyazmaları ışığında genel bir bakış, ana hatları ile dönem el yazmaları hakkında bilgiler, el yazmalarında yer alan bahis ve bilgiler ışığında Tao-Klarceti‟deki dini, sosyal yaşamın yanında el yazmalarının siyasal ve dini temsildeki desteği eserler üzerinden aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır.

The fact that these book covers provide us an overall view of the golden age led by Georgian society during the Medieval Era, general information about the manuscripts pertaining to that Era together with their outlines as well as the contribution of these manuscripts to religious, social and political applications in Tao-Klarceti which has been discovered in the light of referrals and data found on these manuscripts, has been stated hereby.
