Pyemotidae (Acari: Heterostigmata) familyasının tanımı ve biyolojisi

Abstract

Pyemotidae (Acarina) familyası yaygın ve kozmopolit türleri içeren bir familyadır. Pyemotidae familyası fitofag, fungivor, böcek paraziti ve insanlarda zararlı akar türlerini içermektedir. Bu familyada bulunan bazı türler holometabol böcekler de özellikle orman zararlısı ve depolanmış ürün zararlısı böceklerde parazittirler. Ayrıca Pyemotidae familyası bireylerinden bazıları patojen fungus vektörüdür. Bu özellikleri ile Pyemotidae familyası önemli bir familyadır. Bu çalışmada pyemotidae familyasının tanımlanması ve biyolojisi üzerinde durulmuştur.

Members of the family Pyemotidae are widespread and cosmopolitan species. Pyemotidae family include phytophag, fungivor, insect parasites and harmful on humans mite species. Pyemotidae are parasites of all developmental stages of holometabolous insects, especially forest insects and stored product insects. Some members of Pyemotidae family is a vector of pathogenic fungi. Because of these features Pyemotidae is an important family. This study is mainly focused identification of pyemotidae family and biology.
