Plotinus ve Farabi'de ruh kavramı

Abstract

Düşünce tarihinde hep bir problem olarak devam edegelen Ruh ve Nefs kavramı hakkında Plotinus ve Fârâbî'nin açıklama ve görüşlerini incelediğimiz 'Plotinus ve Fârâbî'de Ruh Kavramı' adlı çalışmamızı, konumuz açısından bizi ilgilendiren her iki filozofun konuyla alakalı felsefi düşünceleri üzerine yapmaya çalıştık. Bu bağlamda her iki filozofun düşüncelerinde ruh/nefs anlayışı, ruh-beden ilişkisi, ruhun mutluluğu ve saadeti, ruhun ölümsüzlüğü ve ölümden sonraki durumu gibi önemli hususlar ele alınmştır. Aynı zamanda konuyla ilgili iki düşünür nefs le ilgili felsefi görüşlerini temellendirirken başvurdukları temel kavramlara da değinilmiştir. Çalışmamızın birinci bölümünde önce Plotinus'un referans aldığı Platon ve Aristoteles'in görüşlerini aktararak daha sonra filozofumuzun ruhla ilgili görüş ve açıklamalarına yer verildi. Dolayısıyla çalışmamız yapılırken Plotinus'un felsefi görüşlerinin aktarıldığı mevcut eserleri tetkik edildi. Çalışmamızın ikinci bölümünde ise Fârâbî'ye göre ruh/nefs mahiyeti, varlğı ve mead açısından önemi ele alındı. Böylece konuyla ilgili felsefi görüşlerini incelerken, birinci el kaynaklardan yararlanılmaya çalışılmıştır. Aynı zamanda filozofun ruhun varlığı, mahiyeti, nitelikleri gibi hususlarla ilgili felsefi kavramlara ait görüşlerine de değinilmiştir. Son olarak çalışmamızda her iki filozofumuzun konuyla ilgili görüşleri değerlendirilerek karşılaştırılmaya çalışıldı.

The work that we have named '' Plotinus' and al-Fârâbî's concept of Soul'' is based on the analysis of the statements and concepts of Plotinus and al-Fârâbî about an ongoing problem of the Soul and Nafs concepts throughout the History of Thought. In this contest it is dealt with important issues of these two philosophers' thoughts like the conception of Soul/Nafs, the Soul-Body relation, the happiness and the well being of the Soul, the after death state and the immortality of the Soul etc. Basic concepts, upon which these two philosophers have appealed to when building the foundations of their philosophical views, are mentioned in this work. In the first part after mentioning the views of Plato and Aristotle which Plotinus refers to, we have given place to the explanations and the views of our philosopher about the concept of Soul, and revised his philosophical works. In the second part we have worked on the importance of the nature, circumstance and the resurrection of the Soul according to al-Fârâbî and his thoughts about these philosophical issues. Thus while searching for the subject, first hand references have been utilized. In conclusion of this work the thoughts of both of the philosophers have been evaluated and compared.
