Bithiynia bölgesi ticaret yolları

Abstract

Bithynia'da çağlar boyunca yoğun ticari faaliyetler söz konusudur. Bunun nedeni kara ve deniz ulaşımı ile ticaret yapılmasıdır. Konumundan dolayı çok önemli bir bölgeye sahip olan Bithynia, Asya ve Avrupa üzerinde bir köprü görevi görmekte aynı zamanda Akdeniz'den Karadeniz'e bir geçiş konumunda bulunmaktadır. Bu sebepten dolayı tezin amacı Bithynia Bölgesindeki ticaretin önemini vurgulayarak yayılımını anlatmaktır. Çalışmada arkeolojik kanıtlar araştırılmış antik ve modern kaynaklardan yararlanılmıştır. Tez konusu kapsamında 3 bölümden oluşan tezin ilk bölünü bölgenin kökeni ve tarihçesi hakkında verilen bilgiler oluşturmaktadır. İkinci bölümünde ticaret de hangi ürünlerin hangi araçlarla nasıl nasıl yapıldığını anlatan taşımacılık yöntemlerine yer verilmiş son olarak da Bithynia Bölgesinde yer alan ticaret yolları üzerinde durulmuş ticari kentler, yollar, konaklama ve mil taşlarına yer verilmiştir.

In Bithynia there are intensive commercial activities for ages. The reason for this is trade by land and sea. Bithynia which has a very crucial due to its location has function as a bridge between Asia and Europe and at the same time it is a transition from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea. Therefore, the aim of the thesis is to emphasize the importance of trade in the region of Bithynia. In this study, archaeological evidence was investigated and modern sources were used. Within the scope of the thesis which consists of three parts, the first part composes given information about the origin and history of the region. In the second part of the study. In the second part of the thesis, the transportation system, explaining which products, equipments and methods were used in trade, is stated. Finally, merchantile cities, roads, accommodation places and milestones which were established on the trade routes in the Asian region are mentioned.
