Taha Abdurrahman'da modernite düşüncesi

Abstract

Fas'lı düşünür Taha Abdurrahman "modernite ruhu" adını verdiği özgün bir modernlik düşüncesi inşa etmiştir. Modernite ruhu teorisi, kavramsallaştırma ve kuramsallaştırma bakımından felsefî temelleri güçlü bir düşünsel proje niteliği taşımaktadır. Bu teoriye göre modernite ile Batı arasında bir özdeşlik kurmak doğru değildir. Zira rüşt, eleştiri ve şümul ilkeleri üzerine kurulu olan modernlik ruhu, şimdiye kadar gün yüzüne çıkmış her medeniyette farklı seviyelerde bulunduğu gibi, bundan sonra da doğacak medeniyetlerin temelindeki yerini alacaktır. Bu tezde T. Abdurrahman'ın modernite ruhu düşüncesi ve bu ruh uyarınca geliştirdiği İslamî modernlik modeli hem metodolojik hem felsefî temelleriyle ele alınmıştır.

Taha Abdurrahman, a Moroccan philosopher, has built a unique modernity thought called "spirit of modernity". The theory of the spirit of modernity has been carrying a strong intellectual project in terms of conceptualization and theoritualization. According to this project, the identity correlation between modernity and West is not true. Because the spirit of modernity which is based on puberty, criticism and its own principles has been situated as different levels in every civilization come to light. Also it will be located in the new civilizations which will emerge in the future. This paper is mainly based on Ruhu'l-Hadase and uses a descriptive method in which Taha Abdurrahman's critique and opinions are presented on the topic.
