Pozitif tanımlı formlar, bazlar, indefinite formlar, kuadratik idealler ve diophantine denklemleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada pozitif tanımlı formların taban noktaları, nin bazı, indefinite formlar, kuadratik idealler ve Diophantine denklemlerinin tamsayı çözümleri ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde, tezin sonraki bölümlerinde kullanılacak olan pozitif tanımlı formlar, bu formların denklikleri, taban noktaları, bazlar, indefinite formlar, kuadratik idealler ve Diophantine denklemleri hakkında bazı temel kavramlara, notasyonlara ve teoremlere yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, pozitif tanımlı formların taban noktaları ele alınmıştır. Bu bölümde ilk olarak tamsayısı için taban noktaları doğrusu üzerinde olan pozitif tanımlı formlar, daha sonra tamsayısı için taban noktaları çemberinin üst-yarı düzlemde kalan kısmı üzerinde pozitif tanımlı formlar ele alınmıştır. Tüm bu problemler grubu ve genişletilmiş Hecke grubu dikkate alınarak incelenmiştir. Tezin üçüncü bölümü orijinal olup bu bölümde, pozitif tanımlı formların taban noktaları, nin bazı ele alınmış ve bunlarla ilgili bazı yeni sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Tezin dördüncü bölümü de orijinal olup bu bölümde ise indefinite formlar ve kuadratik idealler ele alınmış ve bunlarla ilgili bazı cebirsel sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. Bu bölümde son olarak ele alınan indefinite formlardan elde edilen bazı özel Diophantine denklemlerinin tüm tamsayı çözümleri kümesi elde edilmiştir.

In this thesis, base points of positive definite forms, basis of , indefinite forms, quadratic ideals and integer solutions of some specific Diophantine equations are considered. In the first section, some preliminary notations, definitions and theorems concerning positive definite forms, equivalence of forms, base points, indefinite forms, quadratic ideals and Diophantine equations are given. In the second section, base points of positive definite forms are considered. First we consider the positive definite form whose base points lie on the line for some integer and later we consider the positive definite form whose base points lie on the circle intersection with the upper-half plane. All problems have been considered by using the groups and the extended Hecke group . In the third section, this is the original part of the thesis; base points of positive definite forms and basis of are discussed. Some new theorems and relations are derived. In the last section, this is the original part of the thesis; indefinite quadratic forms, quadratic ideals and the set of all integer solutions of some specific Diophantine equations derived from the indefinite forms are considered.
