Abstract: | Bruder and Paulston (1975) believe that though reading and writing are crucial aids to learn a language, grammar is the heart of language Leaching and learning. Different approaches may view grammar differently and therefore its teaching may vary; however, whether ar not certain approach attach importance to grammar and its teaching, grammar is still the backbone of language. Since it is found around speech and whereever language is used, it is impossible for grammar to be uninvolved in language teaching. |
